This policy explains what information Hacky Haven collects on hackyhaven.com and how we use it. It covers our online shop, our contact form and our mailing list. Hacky Haven is run by Lemonade Sports LLC. Our design app, Haven Footbag Designer, has its own privacy policy.
What we collect
- When you place an order: your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number if you give one, the items you buy, any order notes, and your order history.
- Payments: card payments are processed by WooPayments, which is powered by Stripe. We don’t see or store your full card number.
- How you found us: when you place an order, our store software records where your visit came from, such as a search engine or a link, and saves it with your order. It uses a cookie to do this.
- When you contact us: the name, email address and message you send through our contact form or by email.
- Mailing list: your email address, if you sign up for news or the Drop Club list.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting and security services process your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and block spam and attacks.
Cookies
We use the cookies our shop needs to work, such as the ones that keep track of your cart and checkout, and the order-source cookie described above. We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t run ads that track you across other websites.
How we use your information
We use it to process, ship and support your orders, to send order and shipping emails, to answer your questions, to send news if you signed up for it, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the records we need for tax and legal reasons.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:
- WooPayments and Stripe, to process payments.
- Shipping carriers, which receive your name, shipping address and phone number to deliver your order.
- WooCommerce and Jetpack (Automattic), which run our store, contact form, security and backups.
- Bluehost, which hosts the site, and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects it.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for shipping, customer service, and tax and legal records. We keep messages for as long as we need them to help you.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing jaymathes@hackyhaven.com. We may need to keep some order records when the law requires it. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any email.
Children
Our shop isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we make significant changes to this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
